Two weeks until second phase of London Low Emission Zone starts
The second phase of the London Low Emission Zone, which will affect diesel engined lorries weighing over 3.5 tonnes, buses and coaches, begins at 00:01am on Monday 7 July. From that time if these vehicles do not meet the required emissions standard, they will face a daily charge.

NEW MEASURES TO STREAMLINE AND STRENGTHEN DISCRIMINATION LEGISLATION
The changes include: 1) Banning 'gagging clauses' so that work colleagues can compare wages; 2) Development of an equality "kite-mark" to make businesses report on gender pay gap and employment of disabled and ethnic minority staff in their organisation; 3) Employers will get the right to address under-representation. Big Dance is a campaign to promote dance in all its forms, showcasing innovative dance event across England. The campaign is led by the Arts Council, which will invest £1.3 billion of public money and a further £0.3 billion from the National Lottery in the next 3 years in the campaign.
