Look for operating cadence
Systems courses should teach how work recurs: intake, assignment, review, escalation, and improvement. Static templates are only useful when the course teaches how to maintain them.
Require examples
Ask whether the course shows real SOPs, dashboards, automation flows, and review notes. A lesson that cannot show before-and-after operating artifacts is usually too thin.
Fit by team size
Solo operators need lightweight routines. Teams need ownership, review cycles, and documentation habits. The wrong course can add process without improving execution.
